Somewhat plain green plant with gorgeous tall, purple blossoms. Sure to please! Grows true from seed. I grow a few more every year. Original plants from member Barbara Nicholas. It's a great Hosta!

French Dwarf Double Mixed Colors

A very attractive marigold with 2 inch (ca. 5 cm) blossoms which last an unusually long time. Blossoms tend to be quite orange in full sun and darker red with yellow centers in partial shade. Plants are 18 to 24 inches tall and the blooms stay so long that I had trouble collecting seeds in November even though I hadn't deadheaded at all.

Fried Egg Poppy

Romneya coulteri. Also known as Coulter's Matilija Poppy, and California Tree Poppy. One of the largest and showiest California poppies. Large white petals with a crinkled texture surround yellow stamens, giving this poppy a bright, cheerful appearance which resembles a sunny-side up fried egg. Its flowers, which can be as large as 7 inches across, are attractive to bees and butterflies. This plant can be challenging to establish, as it can suffer from both too much and too little water. Once established, however, it readily spreads by rhizomes and can soon outgrow its intended area. (Pulling shoots usually suffices to control it.) Plant in full sun in well-draining, sandy soil. Matilija Poppy is a low-water plant that does not need supplemental summer irrigation once established. Direct seed; transplanting almost always kills it, as does overwatering. Collected in Grass Valley, CA near the Grass Valley Sierra College Campus, happily growing in red clay with zero maintenance.

Perennial, large plant, 3' tall by 3' wide, large green or blue/green leaves, seems to grow true from seed, very beautiful tall bloom scapes, very nice Hosta, I grew mine from seed from a friend and have grown many more from mine since, it takes a couple of years to bloom from seed, this has been a very rewarding variety for me, seed only

Split petal, reverse tube, broken colors. Very unique and rare varieties. All mixed together and crossed. Super cool!

A pink-colored California poppy (Eschscholzia californica). Each blossom has four deep pink petals with a yellow center and yellow anthers and stamens. Very attractive. Organic.

Rose of Sharon, Mixed Colors

hardy deciduous shrub quickly grows to 10-12' and produces many 3" blossoms in late summer, mixed colors of dark pink, light pink and white, all with darker eye, I grew mine from seed and I grow a few more from seed almost every year, I plan to border my whole yard with them some day, it will be a fence of pride and beauty, these are easy to grow from seed, I think no yard is complete without at least one Rose of Sharon, seed only
